Overview
Quinta do Seisal is a huge former royal & aristocratic home located in the heart of Sintra – the UNESCO World Heritage city renown for its stunning landscapes, gardens & refreshing coastal retreats. It is moments away from the city’s romantic palaces, castles, museums, intimate inns, bars & restaurants. Built in French romantic style in 1899 the Quinta is now fully restored to its luxurious splendour from which to marvel at the spectacular vistas or to just rest and relax by the heated pool.
The Space
This property and grounds consist of over 5,000 sqm (54,000 sq ft) . The main house consists of 14 available rooms over three floors including six bedrooms suites with luxurious bed linen and furniture and each with a fully equipped bathroom featuring double sized power-showers and extra large individual baths.
On the ground floor is a double aspect high ceiling Drawing Room which opens up directly into the gardens and decorated with fine artworks, open fireplace, cable television and fibre fast wifi; there is a fully equipped library as well as an Apple desktop computer and colour printer; a large fully equipped kitchen and spectacular dining room featuring a huge 19th century Irish chandelier and which opens directly into the peaceful gardens and pool area.
There is ample cupboard and storage space in each room as well as a total of eight balconies off all of the first floor rooms from which to marvel at the castles, palaces and gardens that surround the property.
Scattered throughout the stunning gardens are several dining tables, chairs and benches from which to rest, have a drink, dine by the BBQ, pick some of the garden fruit or to contemplate where and what next to discover in this unique Portuguese paradise. The house is also fitted with a large flag pole.
Alongside the main house is a huge private well-heated swimming pool and sun decks and loungers. The property also features a large Jacuzzi, a Swedish sauna and a marble steam room suitable for up of 6 persons at a time as well as a treadmill, rowing machine, indoor exercise cycle, shower room, bathroom as well as a child and adult bicycles.
The external area of the property consists of over 4,250 sqm (45,700 sq ft) of beautiful gardens comprising flower beds, mature trees, several small fish ponds and ample space to walk around. Adults and children can have fun with our giant size outdoor games including chess, draughts, connect or boules. Guests can choose, if they wish, to play or walk with the two family friendly resident dogs.
Catering, staffing or butler or maid service can be arranged on request by separate agreement. Events are on request and subject to a specific fee.
Sintra is a very safe area in Portugal. Nevertheless the property comes with a fully policed alarm, camera and security system and 24 hour staff on site.

The ultimate luxury stay in Sintra. There’s no other place like the villa. The views are spectacular it’s like heaven. The staff is phenomenal and the food was out of this world. If I could give more than 5 stars I would. One of the best times I’ve ever had in my life.

We went in with high expectations and yet our expectations were beyond surpassed. The home is absolutely stunning, and the location is incredible. Amir and David were incredibly helpful and responsive. We spent the entire weekend at the house. They arranged a private chef who worked at the villa for us who cooked the most delicious meals. David and his team helped make this weekend very memorable. Always making us laugh and making sure we had a drink in our hand. We will definitely be back soon!

I rented this stunning villa out for my best friends bachelorette with 14 other girls. We were completely blown away! The house is newly renovated and the definition of luxury. Everything was aesthetically pleasing! The backyard is the gem of the house, that’s where we spent most of our time. We took the all inclusive option with David & his team and every day the chef was cooking us different fresh foods (this is a must! It made our vacation 100x more relaxed and stress free not having to worry about feeding 25 picky women!) We had the best times with each other during our dinners outside on the table facing the beach. This house comfortably fit all 25 of us, it’s a huge space. David and his team helped us organize everything, it made our trip so much easier. We organized a yacht day and the yacht came with full staff who was serving us drinks the whole time, pure luxury! David recommended we take the boat to an island called Isla Mujeres for the day and we are greatful for this recommendation as it was one of our favourite days! Coolest little island ever and everyone parks their boats, plays music and just hangs out. All in all, if you’re wondering if you should book this house, don’t think anymore and just book it! It will make your entire trip. Thank you so much to everyone who helped make this an unforgettable experience!!

Excellent attention from Valeria, the chef cooks excellent and the service from Javier the waiter also very well. I recommend bringing a speaker because they do not have and also shampoo and soap because there was not in the bathrooms.
