Overview
Sequoias is the perfect setting for those who are looking for a natural and safe retreat surrounded by nature. We are located in the heart of Sintra’s forest but are only 5km away from the historical center and just another 3km from the Monserrate park and palace; we are also 40km far from the Lisbon International Airport and 15km from the Cascais Central Hospital.
The Space
Sequoias Country House has 6 lovely suites each one enjoying a unique mountain landscape, 2 of the suites can accommodate 4 people making it a good option for families. One big dining hall and a living room with generous areas.
On the exterior, there is a wooden house (check my other space here on Airbnb) and a small apartment (max. 4 people) with a private entrance that is ONLY AVAILABLE for groups over 16 people and depending on the occasion. Making it possible to accommodate 22 people confortably.
When renting you’ll not share the space with other guests but you might see some staff that takes care of the gardens, exteriors and security; it will depend if you are renting for a week or a month; I live on the property but I will not share the same space as you and you will only see me if you need anything.
Sequoias Exploratory Country House is a small business family that has a long tradition of welcoming people from all around the world being often a chosen destiny of those looking for a nature living experience.

The ultimate luxury stay in Sintra. There’s no other place like the villa. The views are spectacular it’s like heaven. The staff is phenomenal and the food was out of this world. If I could give more than 5 stars I would. One of the best times I’ve ever had in my life.

We went in with high expectations and yet our expectations were beyond surpassed. The home is absolutely stunning, and the location is incredible. Amir and David were incredibly helpful and responsive. We spent the entire weekend at the house. They arranged a private chef who worked at the villa for us who cooked the most delicious meals. David and his team helped make this weekend very memorable. Always making us laugh and making sure we had a drink in our hand. We will definitely be back soon!

I rented this stunning villa out for my best friends bachelorette with 14 other girls. We were completely blown away! The house is newly renovated and the definition of luxury. Everything was aesthetically pleasing! The backyard is the gem of the house, that’s where we spent most of our time. We took the all inclusive option with David & his team and every day the chef was cooking us different fresh foods (this is a must! It made our vacation 100x more relaxed and stress free not having to worry about feeding 25 picky women!) We had the best times with each other during our dinners outside on the table facing the beach. This house comfortably fit all 25 of us, it’s a huge space. David and his team helped us organize everything, it made our trip so much easier. We organized a yacht day and the yacht came with full staff who was serving us drinks the whole time, pure luxury! David recommended we take the boat to an island called Isla Mujeres for the day and we are greatful for this recommendation as it was one of our favourite days! Coolest little island ever and everyone parks their boats, plays music and just hangs out. All in all, if you’re wondering if you should book this house, don’t think anymore and just book it! It will make your entire trip. Thank you so much to everyone who helped make this an unforgettable experience!!

Excellent attention from Valeria, the chef cooks excellent and the service from Javier the waiter also very well. I recommend bringing a speaker because they do not have and also shampoo and soap because there was not in the bathrooms.
